Hybrid PreludeHere is the two ways of getting a JDM h22a motor to run in your 97+ Prelude.
If you are doing this swap, it is likely that you have the old motor still. If you don't want to do any wiring, you will need parts off of it so wait to get rid of it until you can take the following parts from the OBD2 engine:
1) Complete intake manifold (injectors, fuel rail) 2) Exhaust manifold 3) Power steering pump and mount 4) AC compressor and mount 5) Alternator and mount 6) Oil pump with CKP and TDC sensors attached 7) Timing belt gear 8) Balancer shaft gear 9) Distributor
While you are doing this, it is a good idea to convert to a manual H23 tensioner as well as replace any seals as necessary. Replacing the rear main seal is a good idea as having to replace it after engine install requires dropping the transmission and removing the clutch and flywheel.
The other way to do this swap is to obtain an OBD1 H23 or H22 distributor and make a harness.
